Are you looking for good tapas which you can eat surrounded by locals instead of tourists? Don’t worry, with my tapas tour we will visit three different authentic, surprising, delicious restaurants. In each restaurant, we will share some tapas and have a drink of choice. In the meantime, your professional foodie tour guide will tell you more about the Spanish traditional food and the way to eat tapas. We want you to feel like your local friend is taking you out for dinner to his favorite tapas bars. Of course, you can ask your guide anything during the tour about the city and we can give many recommendations for the rest of your stay. This is the best way to really “taste” the city!

Can I also book a tapas tour with one person?
Yes you can, the open tours definitely take place with 4 people. If we don’t have other reservations yet, we will place an optional reservation for you. As soon as we receive additional bookings, we will confirm the reservation. If you are flexible with the days, we will place an optional reservation on several days. You don’t have to pay anything yet. If we can’t get to 4 participants, we can also offer the tour but for a slightly higher price so that we still have the minimum amount and you can be sure that the tour will take place. If there are still people who want to join the tour, the price will go down again.
What is an optional reservation?
In case of an optional reservation, we will wait until you or we confirm. We confirm as soon as we have reserved a guide for the tour and the minimum amount of participants has been reached.
What is an open tour?
On an open tour there are also other people joining the tour. This is not a private tour. We like to keep our groups small because we like a cosy and personal atmosphere during our tours. Usually smaller than 10 persons and never more than 15
Can I also book a private tapas tour?
Yes, you can! You can book a private tour from 240 euro for 2 persons. We are happy to adapt tours to your wishes. Be sure to send us an e-mail!.
Can we also do a tapas tour with a large group?
If you are going to Valencia with a large group (company/year club/etc.), please contact us for a quotation and a tailor-made tour. In addition to organizing the food tour, we can also help with reservations in restaurants.
Will the tapas tour continue when it rains?
The tapas tour always continues. We only need to walk small distances and this is possible with an umbrella or poncho (you can also buy these very cheap in Valencia).
Can the tapas tour be done at a different time than indicated?
With a private tour we can be more flexible with the starting time after consultation with the restaurants etc. It is possible that this will result in extra costs. Mail us for the possibilities.
Can we also do the tapas tour by bike?
The tapas tour is on foot because the distances are small. We can also organize a private tour where we combine the bike tour and a tapas tour.
Can we choose the tapas ourselves?
We like to surprise you with tapas that we choose and that you can share. On one location you choose yourself, on the other two, we choose! There are plenty of tapas so if you can’t eat something it’s not a problem. We always ask for dietary requirements because we do take them into account when ordering.
Is the tour also suitable for people who are on a certain diet or can’t eat certain products?
Yes, we try to make the tour suitable for everyone. Pregnant, no problem, there will be a number of dishes that you may not be able eat, but there is plenty of food that you can eat! If you can’t eat gluten, it’s also not an issue. If we know in advance, we can even arrange gluten free bread. Vegetarian tapas are also available, some classic tapas but also some surprising ones! Vegan, pregnant and gluten-free at the same time? You make it very difficult for us but we also had that on the tour once! We’ll do our very best and you’ll have a great evening, but when it comes to tapas, it’s a lot more difficult…Please let us know when you make your reservation.

We want to do the tapas tour with children, is that possible and do they get a discount?
Children are allowed on the tapas tour. In Spain it is very common to see children in restaurants until late at night. Depending on the age of the children, a discount can be given or they can join for free. It is possible to order something else for the kids and pay extra. Perhaps a private tour is more convenient. Every situation is different, you can mail us for the possibilities.
How many drinks are included in the tapas tour?
You get 3 drinks of choice. You can choose between wine, beer or soda and depending on the bar also sangria or Tinto de Verano.
How long in advance do we have to book the tour?
We advise you to book immediately if you know you want to do a tour. If you want to do a tour last minute, we will do our best to offer you one. Feel free to send us a Whatsapp (+34 644512221). If it’s for a tour within 24 hours, we’ll try to answer you as fast as possible. We like to keep our groups small and full is full.
What is the cancellation policy?
For an open tour, it is possible to cancel at least 24 hours before the tour.
