If you’re looking for the most spectacular views the city has to offer, you’re on the right blog. Valencia has breathtaking panoramas to explore and I have listed my top 10 rooftops for you.

1. Atenea Sky 

Ateneo Sky is a hip sky bar and restaurant in the center of Valencia overlooking the Plaza Ayuntamiento. You pay an entrance fee of 8 euros to take the elevator to the top, this does not include a drink.

Opening hours Monday till sunday 11.00 – 01.30

The entrance is not at plaza ayuntamiento but the little street behind it and do not confuse it with Ateneo restaurant in the same building.

2. Private rooftop for a proposal, show-cooking paella or wine tasting

We are regularly asked to help with a romantic proposal. We work together with a top rooftop location that can only be rented privately. You have this beautiful location all to yourself. We have organized dinners for two as well as wine tastings for groups. A showcooking paella lunch is also a possibility.

3. Palau Alameda rooftop and nightclub 

Here you can enjoy a beautiful view of the Turia Park. This rooftop is not so high but multifunctional. You can go here for brunch, drinks or dinner on the fourth floor. There is a bar area and a dining area, often there is a DJ, but under dinner time it does go a little softer. At the bottom of the building, however, is also a night club. Or well night club, since a few years it is also very popular for the Tardeos this is a night club that starts in the very early evening. Ideal for when you want to go dancing but don’t want to be in your bed until 05:00.

4. Rooftop dinner with wine tasting and tour of the city of arts

Enjoy panoramic views from Valencia’s highest rooftop.

Explore Valencia’s futuristic masterpiece, the City of Arts and Sciences, then head to the city’s highest rooftop for a dinner of local tapas and regional award-winning wines in an intimate venue with a 270º panoramic view of the entire city.

This is the perfect place to watch the city light up as the sun sets. Through small bites you will travel through Valencia. This menu is paired with award-winning wines from the Valencia region. Enjoy this intimate setting, take enviable vacation photos and make memories for life!

The experience costs 85 euros p.p. and is with up to 12 people. We also work with them to organize special proposals or romantic dinners.

5. Rooftop Bar “Terraza 270° on hotel Barcelo  

This rooftop offers great views of the Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias in Valencia. It is part of hotel Barcelo, they charge a minimum amount (10 euros) per person to spend here. I recommend going here around sunset for the fantastic color palette in the sky but also because it can be a bit hot in the summer as there is not much shade.

6 . La terraza del blanc 

This rooftop bar in Valencia is another bit of a hidden gem. The terrace overlooks Turia Park and the Torres de Serranos, one of Valencia’s old city gates. La Terraza de Blanq is perfect if you’re looking for a little escape. There is a small rooftop pool, but it is only accessible to hotel guests.

The rooftop bar is open from 4:30 p.m. to midnight

7. El Corte Inglés op de calle Colón (La Plaça Gastro Mercat)

El corte ingles is een chique warenhuizen met hun eigen cafetaria/restaurant in dit gebouw zit deze op het dak. La Plaça Gastro Mercat biedt een breed scala aan eten; van kleine snacks tot warme gerechten en een wijntap waar je verschillende soorten wijnen per glas kan selecteren. Een goede plek om even uit te rusten van het shoppen en snel wat te eten. De vibes zijn zoals je kunt verwachten van een warenhuis cafetaria maar het uitzicht is wel mooi en gratis te bezoeken uiteraard. 

9. Palacio Santa Clara Hotel 

There are a number of hotels with rooftop bars, or restaurants on the top floor that didn’t make my top 10 list. This bar does stare on it, not necessarily for the view but for the fantastically beautiful bar located in a dome. A sophisticated, avant-garde bar with beautiful wallpaper and a wooden ceiling, not to mention good signature cocktails. The terrace has several tables and loungers. The pool, however, is for hotel guests only.

8. The Roof 

If you’re looking for a trendy rooftop bar in Valencia with a sea view, head to The Roof! The Roof is located above restaurant El Camarote in the marina, steps away from the beach. A trendy beach vibe with often a DJ or live music. Great for a drink after a nice day at the beach.

10. Veles e Vents gastronomic restaurant La Sucursal

Veles e Vents, an architecture by David Chipperfield, stands in La Marina de València (Port of Valencia) and is an emblematic and iconic building that means sailing and wind and represents the Mediterranean. It was built for the Americas Cup and this was then the VIP building you in fact have beautiful views of the harbor and the sea from here. On the top floor is La Sucursal

A gourmet restaurant very suitable for all kinds of events and parties but where you can also book a dinner for 2.
